In the footsteps of history
For those who don’t want to miss out on the culture of Paganella area and the Brenta Dolomites, there are numerous sites to visit of great interest. In Molveno, for example, the remains of the Roman bridge at Mezzolago and the "fortini di Napoleone" are still visible. In addition, you can feel the echo of history among the frescoed stone walls of the Church of San Vigilio, whose construction dates back to the thirteenth century. Then, to dive deep into the craft traditions of the area, we recommend going to the old Venetian sawmill Taialaqua, recently restored by the municipality and the MAS (Museum of Arts and Knowledge) of Fai della Paganella.
Heading up to Spormaggiore, you can admire the ruins of the medieval castle of Belfort and the ancient village of Maurina. Then, moving to nearby Trento, the cultural offering expands even more, with attractions such as MUSE (the science museum), Castello del Buonconsiglio, Palazzo Pretorio and the Galleria Civica.
